Gillian Cemetary is located in White Bluff off of Joslin Branch Road. From White Bluff, take highway 70 towards Dickson and go to Jones creek road approx.half mile and Joslin Branch is o­n right hand side of the road. Gillin Cemetery is 100 yards o­n left hand side of road.

This Cemetry is located just over The Humphreys County Line. To get to this Cemetery, go Hwy 46 ( Yellow Creek Road) til you get to Old Number Road, turn (L),go 4.3 miles to White Oak Road, which will be a very sharp turn to the (R). Go to the intersection of Will Long Lane, turning to the (L). Go about 300 to 400 feet and look to the (R) you will see the access Road to the Cemetery. The Cemetery is located o­n the farm that is now owned by Mr. Tony Ford. This property was o­nce known to be “The Old Andy Ethridge Place”.

Even though Mr. Ford does not have any family in this Cemetery, he has taken his time to keep the weeds and leaves away from the Cemetery. This is very much appreciated.. Thank You Mr. Ford.

This Cemetery is located off Fanny Branch Rd. Go Hwy 46 (Yellow Creek Road) to Fanny Branch Road, turn (R). Go down this road , not very far, just before it curves to the left, Cemetery is located up o­n hill, o­n the Right. Watch carefully as may pass drive.

To get to this Cemetery go from Dickson toward Sylvia. Go Yellow Creek Road ( Hwy 46) past Gilliam Hollow Rd.. Just before you get to Old Number o­ne Road, o­n the left you will see this small Cemetery in the middle of the field.

This cemetery is now o­n the property of Tres Elliott o­n Petty Road. His father picked out his own spot for his grave. About 100 yards away from this cemetery is the single grave of Dr. James Elliott, Jr. born 18 July 1925, died 8 Mar. 1985

Neither the cemetery nor the single grave are taken care of. You have to cross a pasture into the woods to find this spot.

From Dickson go out Hwy 48 towards the interstate. Turn (L) onto Piney. (not east or west, just plain Piney) Go 1.6 miles, you will turn left where there is some old farm equipment. Lookin up to your left after you turn you will see the cemetery enclosed in a fence. Well Kept. The driveway next to the turn in has Greene on the mailbox.

Relocation: The graves from along the Johnson’s creek area of the Cumberland were moved in the 1930′s by the Corp of Engineers . It is now located on Lock A rd about 100 yards from where the Mouth of Johnsons Creek Rd. intersects Lock A Rd. It is on the right just off the road in a small woodlot. It is very unkept.
