Elizabeth Dillard Turner, born 18 Oct. 1818, married Moses B. Street 1837. They were the parents of 12 children.

Howard Williams Turner

Howard W. Turner was born in Person Co., NC circa 1796. He was the youngest son of John Turner and Elizabeth Dillard. His father was a Primal Baptist minister and a Revolutionary War soldier. Howard Turner migrated to Dickson Co., Tn with his father, mother, brothers and sisters at an early age settling o­n Yellow Creek in 1805. During the War of 1812 he served under General Jackson and was stationed 6 miles from Natchez, Miss. He married Nancy Bunch o­n 13, Aug. 1813; they were the parents of eight children.

Elisha Turner

Elisha Turner was born in North Carolina in 1794. He is believed to be the son of John Turner and his wife Elizabeth Dillard. Elisha Turner is enumerated in Dickson County in the 1820 Census living in the Yellow Creek area.
