Moses Brown Street was born Aug. 4, 1815 and died Nov. 3, 1890. He married Elizabeth Dillard Turner the daughter of Howard Williams Turner and grand-daughter of Elder John Turner.

Moses Brown Street, a private in the 1836 Seminole War in Florida also received a land grant in Dickson County. A record of this is recorded in the national Archives in Washington DC.
