Revolutionary War Land Grant: Few Family

by admin on August 31st, 2003

I’m attempting to locate the original location and size of a revolutionary war land grant given to the children of Captain James Few sometime in the late 1790’s. This grant was obtained by William Few (Uncle) who was the first U.S. Senator from Georgia and a signator of the U.S. Constitution as a delegate from Georgia.Possession of the land along Garner’s Creek ( south of Tennessee City ) was accomplished by 1805 I believe.Any information or pointers about how to obtain this information is greatly appreciated.
