 DEED. Leaf-Chronicle, Clarksville.


We have this day bargained and sold, and do hereby transfer,
and convey to……H. E. Allen and his wife Lena Allen
the following tract or parcel of land,lying and being
in…..20…. Civil District of Montgomery County, Tennessee.


The consideration of this conveyance is Thirty o­ne Dollars,
to be paid as follows: Cash In hand, receipt of which Is hereby
acknowledged  . . . . . . o­ne note dated ………….and due
in . . . . . . .   months with…………………….
interest for…………………………..              

Said land is described and bounded as follows: ……..begens o­n a sycomore

tree at A.H.Sykes line runing south west 71 degres west 11 80/100 poles to a

poplar thesce north 4degreas west 10 40/100 poles to a stone near south west

corner of School House Lot thence north east 87 degreas east 10 1/3 poles to a

stone thence south 8 degreas east 8 1/5 poles to the beginning corner it is

under stood by all parties that H.E. Allen is to have a out let or passway at

west corner of school house lot.


TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the H.E. Allen and wife Lena Allen
heirs and assigns forever, with covenants of general warranty, We
Covenant that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said land, have
a right to convey, and the same is unincumbered. A lien is expressly
retained to secure the deferred payments.
